Sorry. No post from Elder Titus today. He had a doctor's appointment, and did not have time afterwards for sending me his blog. He is fine, just needed some tests run. Thank you for reading, and for caring. He should be back on track next week! --Beki
Derek is home now. However, for those who may be reading later, this is what was said:
Elder Titus was called to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He entered the MTC (Missionary Training Center) in Sao Paulo, Brazil on August 26, 2009. He spent 10 weeks at the MTC learning the Portuguese language and then was transferred to Londrina, Brazil to complete his two years of service. Serving as a missionary for the Church is something that Elder Titus has looked forward to since he was quite young, and he considers it a privilege to be called as a representative of the Church and to spend two years in the service of The Lord.
Important note from Elder Titus: While I am on my mission, I cannot access the internet except to email my family. So each week, I email the info for my blog, and pictures, to my mom and she posts them for me. Any comments you leave are copied by her and mailed to me. I'd enjoy hearing from you! -----Tchau!
