Sorry, it's Derek's mom ... again. After checking my emails all day long on Saturday, I finally received a brief response from Derek late in the afternoon. He did not give me very many details, saying that time was short, but he assured me he would fill us in this Wednesday, regarding the conference he attended and how things are going. In my email to him, I asked how he was feeling, and his response back was:
"On fire, ready to convert the world!"
I'm anxious to read what he sends on Wednesday. Stay tuned!

- Elder Derek TItus
- Derek is home now. However, for those who may be reading later, this is what was said: Elder Titus was called to serve as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He entered the MTC (Missionary Training Center) in Sao Paulo, Brazil on August 26, 2009. He spent 10 weeks at the MTC learning the Portuguese language and then was transferred to Londrina, Brazil to complete his two years of service. Serving as a missionary for the Church is something that Elder Titus has looked forward to since he was quite young, and he considers it a privilege to be called as a representative of the Church and to spend two years in the service of The Lord. ---------------------- Important note from Elder Titus: While I am on my mission, I cannot access the internet except to email my family. So each week, I email the info for my blog, and pictures, to my mom and she posts them for me. Any comments you leave are copied by her and mailed to me. I'd enjoy hearing from you! -----Tchau!
